OEM MOPAR Wheel Lugs Online

How Do You Upgrade a Vehicle's Wheels?

Hypothetical situation. You just bought that Jeep Wrangler you've had your eye on a long time. Its stock wheels are big enough, but you're looking to upgrade; after all, you want to put on larger, grippier tires for the off-road. You can do that pretty easily: with wheel lugs.

You probably know them as just plain lugs, lug nuts or, in a set, lug kits, and for what they do to make the magic happen: connect axles to wheels by way of threaded wheel studs. As investment security for a new set of wheels goes, they work well enough; but did you know that thieves can still pry them off?

It's true; imagine it happening to, say, the custom rims you just installed. (If they're, say, Element, for instance, you probably just got ripped off a whole wheel & tire package.) Wheels can run you several hundred dollars to replace -- and that's apiece. On average, it can actually be $850 or more.

What you could use, then, is a lug set patterned for specially designed keys: a set of wheel locks. Essentially, they're locking lug nuts; only said keys can remove them, meaning they're almost impossible to make off with. Put simply, they're instant help preventing rim theft.

They're even a breeze to install; you'll want to use a torque wrench to get the securest fit. Just be sure the key is seated fully to prevent it rounding off (that happens, and it'll get lot tougher to remove the locks in the future).

We've got just the set you need. At First Choice Mopar Parts, we sell OEM quality for less; our wheel lugs come made to fit your make and model, and better yet, they're steeply discounted. Need help with the whole upgrade? A Mopar service center can take care of things.
